lots of bicycle trails are out there. It essentially doubles the size of what

Goodies today were getting to actually see a pheasant, hearing two bell's
vireos, yellow-billed cuckoo (heard only), three lesser goldfinch.
In the new area past the loop, on the eastern fence line, it borders a
farmers property where there is about 1.5 foot tall grass?? It was covered in
singing Dickcissels and red-winged blackbirds. I only saw 1 dickcissel but it
seemed like there had to be way more than the 10 I put.11 tripped the
filters.
The oxbow has become a true oxbow and is completely flooded. There were
actually two turtles and a bullfrog in it.
The rain actually has made both stream crossings impassable and there was
some flood damage to areas by the river.
lots of water= lots of mosquitos= hopefully a lot of happy birds.
