We walked around Dupree Park Pond. First we saw on the west side of the pond 2
Black-necked Stilts, then 2 American Avocets. On the north end of the pond,
east of the rock pile was 2 more American Avocets, a different pair. I could
see both pairs at the same time.
There was a Snowy Egret on the rock pile.
We saw an single Black-necked Stilt on the east side of the pond. I could not
see the first pair, so could not confirm that this was a third Stilt.
Walking around the south end, I was looking for the first pair of Stilts,
instead there was an Ibis in the shallows of the west side, nearest a big
willow tree.
