This morning about 7:30am on the way to take my son to camp I was westbound on
the loop between University and Indiana.
The small playa north of the loop just past Trinity church was absolutely
packed with Great Egrets and either Snowy or Cattle Egrets, all standing in a
line along the north side of the lake.
There had to have been six or seven of the Great Egrets and seven or eight of
the smaller ones. I seldom see any birds at that playa so it definitely caught
my eye. Beautiful sight!
