Greetings All:
The Muleshoe NWR CBC will be held on the morning of Saturday, 24 December
2016. We will meet at the refuge residence at 7:30, bird until
approximately noon, and then have a quick potluck lunch/countdown prior to
our return to Lubbock - well in time for any late afternoon festivities.
Drew Harvey and I will be bringing main dishes of some sort - others are
invited to bring veggies, fruit, or desserts.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO BRING DRINKING WATER - AS THE RECENT FREEZE HAS REDUCED
WATER AVAILABILITY, SO I AM TOLD, AT THE RESIDENCE.
I could use as many people as are interested but need at least eight to get
the job done right. So far I have:
Area One - Paul's Lakes - Anthony Hewetson
Area Two - White Lakes and environs - Kathryn Brautigam, Jim Crites, and
Lena Zappia.
Area Three - Goose Lakes and environs - Phillip Kite, Drew Harvey, and
Ellen Hildebrandt.
Area Four - Atop the Rim - *VACANT* - will be covered by other teams, if
needed, if we don't get any last minute additions.
