Intent at Ransom Canyon yesterday was to search for the GHOs. No
Luck initially.
Happened upon the brown
Pelican instead.
Fortunately Anthony Hewetson recommended I try for the owls again before
heading home.
Eureka!
I saw an adult fly ahead of me and the youngster perched on the branch below.
I tried again this am. Once again, the adult flew off ahead of me I got the
second pic with the youngster on a rock at the entrance to a small “cave”.
This is past the chapel and just before the canyon dead ends.
