We stopped on the north side of Dupree Park pond at about 11:00am to look at a
beautiful Great Egret, standing in the taller vegetation on the west side.
There is a drainage ditch on the northwest corner, drainage from across 55th
St/55th Drive.
Eight turtles were lined up on the sunny west bank of the ditch.
