When the pandemic shut down in-person meetings in 2020, Audubon Society of
Greater Cleveland joined the millions of people using Zoom to reach our
membership and others interested in our programs. We called our monthly
programs “Third Thursday’s” so people would get used to setting aside that
time for an informative, nature-related program.
Third Thursday’s begins this week, September 16th at 7:00pm with AN
INTRODUCTION TO eBIRD. This is a LIVE, BEGINNERS tour of the most popular
features of eBird, starting with how to create an account and enter data
using your computer. We will then EXPLORE regions, hotspots, species maps,
bar charts, photos and sounds. Learn how to explore your own data using MY
eBIRD, sharing checklists, and requesting NEEDS ALERTS. eBird Mobile will
be introduced but there are so many useful videos on-line that it will not
be covered in this program.
The program is free but you must register using the link below. You can
