started at McAlister and Jim K. spotted a bird in the tall weeds as soon as
we parked. It turned out to be an Ash-throated Flycatcher! It feels really
early for one! Then I met Brad Shine at the city cemetery and he relocated
the adorable Bushtits for me! Yay!!! And then, on my way out, I came across
the continuing Roadrunner! Double Yay!!! It was originally in the road eating
something, and then it dropped its wings and tail and puffed up... turns out
it was sunbathing! I can get behind that after the last few dreary days...
Both the Bushtits (2) and Roadrunner were in the SE corner with the large
green storage shed in sight.
