Jim Crites' original photo seems to show 2 wing bars, an indicator of Orchard.

Awesome George. Going just by field guides (I have very little experience
differentiating these species)-these 2 birds seem similar. Hooded would be
unexpected. The breast color extends to top of head & nape. Looks like Hooded
in my Nat Geo guide but more like Orchard in Sibley. Both guides show 1st year
male Baltimores with the most orange underparts. But the slight bill curve
would limit them to Orchard/Hooded. I’ll bet a post to one of the active forums
would get results.

Its bill is longer and narrower than the usual orioles, color darker yellow
than the orchard or bullocks females and the tail appears longer.
Looks more like a female hooded to me?
