Hi All,
Driving my daughter to a camp this weekend, I had the opportunity to spend a
couple hours at South Llano River State Park. It was really quite something:
I don't know where I've seen such a density and variety of songbirds outside of
migration.
The highlight was a Black-Capped Vireo, a new species for me. Other firsts
were Black-Crested Titmouse and (after near 30 years in Texas) a (living)
armadillo.
