[leasbirds] McAlister Park Tonight

This evening after work I ventured out for a forty five minute walk around
McAlister Park. Along with the usual assortment of grackles and pigeons, I
had nice views of the following:
2 Mourning Doves
9 Meadowlarks--whether eastern or western, your guess is as good as mine
8 Killdeer
2 ring necked ducks
3 Great Blue Herons
1 Redtailed Hawk
1 Say's Phoebe (this being my first of the season)- Photo below.

Along with the birds, I also scared up a beautiful red fox in the tall
grass between Marsha Sharp and the main playa.
