[leasbirds] Migration Prediction for May 1

After Drew sent his migration email out today, I realized that I hadn't
checked BirdCast in a few days. Looking ahead, it looks like the night of
April 30 - May 1 may be good for us! Birds that do not need thermals, like
songbirds and shorebirds, will generally begin their migration in the
evening and travel during the night. Sometimes they don't arrive at
migration stopovers the next day anywhere from mid-morning all the way to
the evening (depending on wind, weather, etc), so there is no wrong time of
the day to bird and find new migrants! I have attached the overview of the
forecast for May 1 and included the link to the site, which shows forecasts
for three nights at a time.

watch the direction, intensity, and timing of the predicted migration for
the upcoming (or a past) night.
