This afternoon, I decided to walk the loop around lake 6.
On the south side I was treated to a Plumbeous Vireo in a loose mixed flock
with Wilson, Orange-crowned, yellow-rumps and a Common Yellowthroat. It was
quite confiding and I got great pictures of the all gray solitary vireo.

Had quite a few of the summer residence like western kingbird, Bullock’s
orioles, ash-throated flycatchers, and scissor tail flycatchers.
I had two buffleheads on the lake as well which seem to be late-ish.
I forgot how much good habitat there is on the lake shore on the south
side.
Good birding,
