[leasbirds] Post Breeding Bird Survey - Full Report

Greetings All:

From 6:05 to 10:04 I covered the Post BBS route.  Conditions were somewhat
damp from recent rains but all roads were - surprisingly - driveable.  The
rains were nice but, in reality, have done little to relieve the
region-wide drought and the following list is missing quite a few generally
encountered, water-loving species: Green Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron,
Black-necked Stilt,  American Avocet, and Yellow-billed Cuckoo come quickly
to mind.  Additionally, numbers of resident species and regularly breeding
species were low to disturbingly low (a total of eight meadowlarks -
really?).  Without further ado, the list:
