Ken and Glenda, I agree about the chorus of birds. Even the grackles sound
pretty with the warmth in the air.

It’s nice to hear lots more birds cranking it up before dawn now. It’s
really feeling like spring these past three or four days, especially with
the recent blessing of rain finally.
Yesterday’s sightings (near 56th and Boston) included a pair of
Broad-winged Hawks about 4:30pm and later last evening, while tossing
around the football with my son, we saw two Cedar Waxwings moving from tree
to tree
More Mourning Dove activity than normal also. First Broad-wings of the
season for me, and also the first time I’ve seen Cedar Waxwings in the
neighborhood.
