The Lincoln's Sparrow was identifiable, but very roughed up and with a pretty
bad smell. I already buried it. I'm virtually certain this would not be a
good specimen, unless you were doing some kind of forensic ornithology. If it
was fresher, I'd have asked, and I'll keep it in mind; though I hope I don't
find another dead one.
