[leasbirds] Regarding the listserv

Greetings All:
This listserv has a few quirks. The most irritating of these quirks is
that, unless you deliberately choose to reply to an individual comment by
clicking the reply to individual box, all replies go to the entire
listserv.
I, myself, have made this mistake a few times and sent comments intended as
private queries regarding identifications to the entire listserv. This is
potentially embarrassing to both parties and, after a few mistakes, I have
trained myself to reply to individuals.
If you are engaged in what you intend to be a private discussion amidst a
few members of the listserv please do not simply hit the reply button - it
will go the entire listserv. Instead select the individual (s) that you
intend to reply to, assuring that private discussions remain private.
