It should also be pointed out that an Evening Grosbeak, I believe the
one located by Niler Pyeatt, was accepted for Plainview, Hale County
...
... and up to 18 Evening Grosbeaks were seen (and accepted) at Palo
Duro Canyon State Park.
Our region had a good season - too bad the TBRC doesn't track
irruptive events - our siskins must have been close to record:)

Evening Grosbeak I found during the White River Lake CBC were accepted by the
TBRC. If anyone wants the full list of 40 species accepted and 2 not
