The following birders came out this morning for the LEAS V8 Ranch Bird Walk. It
proved to be a lovely morning and a number of birds were spotted. Thank you to
Lena Zappia for making the arrangements with the V8 Ranch and to James
Leatherwood who originally assisted us in gaining access at the V8 Ranch a
number of months (referral). Anthony Hewetson furnished his eBird report
(below). Joe Cochran and Joe Girgente have (or will) provide the eBird reports
collected for their respective groups. I look forward to seeing some photos
from today in next month’s Scissortail.
As Anthony mentioned, please consider volunteering for the upcoming Christmas
Bird Count(s) (specific details addressed in a previous email from Anthony). We
will continue asking you for your support in this effort. Any and all
birders/volunteers are invited to participate. We need your help. Should you
