Hi,
On a walk through the alleys on Tuesday morning I saw:
1 Yellow Warbler, 1 Chipping Sparrow1 Vireo that made a very good case for a
Warbling Vireo: very drab, no noticeable wingbar, somewhat of an eye stripe;
very much in line with the grayish Western type.)1 Wood Pewee that looked more
Western than Eastern.
Am I the only one seeing these very drab vireos? I just don't have the
experience with these drab ones to be certain. Give me a blue head or a black
cap or a red eye, I'm fine. But these guys?
This morning in the backyard:
Two yellow warblers
1 House Wren
Also, has anyone seen any Cinnamon Teal around? I associate this time of year
with Cattle Egrets and Cinnamon Teal, and have not seen any. I really miss
seeing them.
