No number means a single bird was seen. Numbers seen are per location.
Where a species was seen in multiple locations, the order of the numbers is
the same as the order of the locations.
Also present in good numbers in appropriate habitat were Blue Jays,
Cardinals, Redwings, Great-tailed Grackles, Mockingbirds, Mourning Dove,
Eurasian Collared Dove, White-winged Dove. Barn Swallows were widespread
in low numbers. Cliff Swallows are starting to amass at nesting sites.
There were an handful of Meadowlarks and a couple of Burrowing Owls. And as
always, I saw too many Starlings and too many House Sparrows.
Prairie Dog babies were out and about.
Had about 5 species of butterflies, but didn’t take time to ID them.
