Sorry for the late report. Despite the wind Tuesday afternoon I had 2
Red-breasted Nuthatches and a Downy Woodpecker at the city cemetery.
Mackenzie Park surprised me with a Long-billed (?) Dowitcher.
Lower lake 2 had a pair of Canvasbacks, a pair of Lesser Scaups, and 2 pair of
Bufflehead in with the Ruddy Ducks (20ish).
Through the canyon lakes, Juncos remained in a few locations, but numbers are
dropping. Waterfowl included Mallards, Gadwalls, Shovelers, and a few
Green-winged teal. A very few stragglers remained from the Cackling/Canada
Geese.
