Walked out saw in the birdbath ran back for binocs. Came back and it
flew up. I know I saw red but all else darkish. Couldn't relocate. I'm
thinking Painted Redstart but would never call it. There have been a lot of
them showing up in a lot of places in NM. So that's interesting. All I know
is I'll be watching like a hawk in the am. Binocs, cam, and phone in
hands. Thought about P Bunting but didn't seem right. Again brief
sighting. And bright colors like Cardinals can look black in the right
conditions. Like everyone talked about earlier in the week. Light is
everything.
