Greetings All:
The White River Lake CBC will be held on Saturday, 31 December 2022.
We will meet at the White River Lake Marina at 7:30 AM, bird until
5:00, and then turn our sheets over to the compiler who will conduct
an on-line countdown as soon as he gets home. LEAS will cover lake
fees for the team members who have to pay them. This circle is
divided into five areas so I need five team leaders and as many
counters as I can get. The current line-up is as follows - and I
could still use more counters. Friday's high is expected to be 61,
the overnight low is forecast at 46, and Saturday's high is forecast
at 61 - so this should be a relatively pleasant count.
Area One: The East and Southeast - Anthony Hewetson, Sheri Anderson
Area Two - The Great White North - Rich Kosteck, Brandon Best, Drew Harvey
Aria Three - East Lake - Phillip Kite, Elaina Davis, Joe Heppert, Kathy Heppert
Area Four - West Lake - Manuel De Leon, Glenda Kelly, Rob Lee, Matt Smith
Area Five - The West and Southwest - Lena Zappia, Barry Keith

levels are useful and this is a great way for beginning birders to
pick up some skills and for experienced birders to pass on said
skills. This is generally a pretty interesting count (a nice mix of
northern and southern as well as eastern and western species) and folk
generally have a great time.
