I went to Yellow house canyon today.
Saw my favorite bird ----- painted buntings...heard a lot more than I saw!
Or at least it seemed that way! Anyway, I saw 2 females singing their
hearts out in the trees and finally one male.
2 Mississippi kites
2 turkey vultures
2 Possible Black-headed grosbeak (didn't get the best look.)
2 Northern cardinals
1 Summer Tanager
1 Hummingbird
Last but not least ..... a lifer .....ash-throated flycatcher. Cutest thing
ever!! (Happy dance!!)
