Today a juvenile (1st cycle) yellow footed gull was found at sumner lake,
NM , just west of fort sumner New Mexico. This is a three hour drive from
Lubbock.
This would be a first state record if accepted.
I’m planning on going tomorrow morning. You pass Melrose woods on the way
there and back, so could end up being a fun day.
Wanted to get the word out.
