Hello Everyone,
While heading home from from Buffalo Springs Lake yesterday evening, I stumbled
upon an oddly dark hawk perched in a tree on 50th St, (not far from the 289
loop at the CR2800 intersection). After some humming and hawing and
consultations with Jennifer Miller, it appears to be a dark morph Swainson's
Hawk. A normal Swainson's arrived moments later, so perhaps they are a pair.
I hope someone else sees it. It's a beauty!
