Speaking of Great Blue Herons, our ship left Cienfuegos Cuba on the evening of
December 15. On the morning of December 16, Clarice spotted this very battered
Great Blue. It stopped to rest on the ship.
It stayed there all day December 16, and all night. On arrival in Honduras on
the morning of December 17, it took off.
A new way to migrate.
Floyd and Clarice Robertson

Subject: [leasbirds] great blue heron
I spotted a great blue heron today at Andrews Park...it was the first one I'd
seen since Jan. 10, when I saw a dead one in Miller Park alongside the sidewalk
as I walked that day. Pat Jury
