we traveled to Amarillo today to take two musk turtles to a special
wildlife rescue sanctuary. while we were there we were able to finally
locate the reported leucistic burrowing owl. the only time it came out of
it's burrow was to preen or chase off some curious prairie dogs. we sat
there for almost two hours just watching. hope you like this shot.
