yesterday we had a spotted towhee scratching around and a wilson's warbler
in our backyard sanctuary. i then traveled to the ranson canyon bird
sanctuary and discovered three painted buntings (two males chasing each
other and one female ignoring them), 1 house wren, 2 yellow-rumped
warblers (audubon's), 2 turkey vultures, cardinals of course, 2 great
horned owls (1 adult and 1 juvenile) and 2 b-n stilts next to the road
crossing to the west side.

in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-WOW-WHAT A
RIDE!”
