Good news - not wanting to be left out of the Bunting Festival, I was
delighted to see a stunning male Painted Bunting fly across my yard
and land in the neighbor's locust tree on Monday evening. This might

Bad news - I couldn't get my camera on it before it disappeared below
fence level and it hurt my percent photographed for the yard game this
year.
On balance, it was a WOW! moment so I can roll with it.
