While working on cleaning up leaves and debris from the back yard garden, we
kept hearing a Cardinal in the distance, about 2 or 3 houses over.
We stopped for a coffee break, and while sitting quietly on the patio, the
Northern Cardinal flew into a Silverado bush nearby. What a beauty.
It was just a brief stop, but gave us a lift. The Cardinals do not frequent
our yard, only occasional visits.
Also, one Inca Dove joined in with the Collared Doves, pecking around for some
scattered seeds.
