[Linuxtrent] Debian unstable e telnetd (va beh che e' meglio sshd pero' mi serviva...)

Sto uscendo cretino:
non riesco a far funzionare uno stupidissimo server telnet...
se provo a collegarmi mi da:
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
telnetd: getpty: No such file or directory
.
Connection closed by foreign host.
Per escludere un po tutto ho provato (in inetd.conf) a modificare da
telnet stream tcp nowait telnetd /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/in.telnetd
a
telnet stream tcp nowait telnetd /usr/sbin/in.telnetd
e il risultato non cambia (o quasi)

Tra l'altro Debian me lo proponeva usando anche il gruppo telnetd che
pero' pur esistendo dava errore.
Sep 1 19:29:01 dat inetd[1681]: telnet/tcp: No such user
'telnetd.telnetd', service ignored
Il default era questo:
telnet stream tcp nowait telnetd.telnetd /usr/sbin/tcpd
/usr/sbin/in.telnetd
mi sono perso qualcosa?

Per iscriversi (o disiscriversi), basta spedire un messaggio con OGGETTO
"subscribe" (o "unsubscribe") a mailto:linuxtrent-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
