ma che simpatico scoprire dopo ore che lavoro su un file (
/etc/cups/cupsd.conf ) che quel file e tutta la dir vengono ignorati, e
che invece il giusto è un altro ( /var/cups/conf/cupsd.conf )
cmq c'è scritto:
# AuthType: the authorization to use; currently only "Basic"
authorization is# supported.
e quindi in fondo la sezione admin com'è adesso (esclusi i commenti):

AuthType Basic
#AuthType None
AuthClass System
#AuthClass Anonymous
#AuthClass User
Order Deny,Allow
Deny From All
Allow From 127.0.0.1
</Location>
AuthType viene ignorato.
AuthClass di default è System, che non mi lascia entrare.
Provando AuthClass Anonymous o User mi da direttamente un 404 Not found.
