Linuxtrent: X su Toshiba

Salve,
finalmente sono riuscito a far funzionare X su un Toshiba dotato di
chipset
Trident CyberBladeXP.
Sul sito relativo al modello si dice che per funzionare deve essere
abilitato il frame buffer.
Io invece ho scoperto che è sufficiente lanciare Xconfigurator --preferxf4 e
a quanto pare carica un driver diverso che funziona a patto di mettere come
monitor un Generic Laptop 1024x768 e scegliere di andare a 1024x768x16.
Tutte le altre configurazioni non mi funzionano e generano uno schermo con
parti sovrapposte.
