[Linuxtrent] Problemi con lo sleep

Ho un portatile Toshiba Satellite M50-148 con installato kubuntu dapper
e sinceramente mi sono trovato con alcuni problemi in pià che con breezy.
In particolare ce ne à uno che mi da alquanto fastidio, il suspend to ram.
Ha sempre funzionato egregiamente ma da quando ho aggiornato il kernel,
credo, alla versione 2.6.15-26 ho avuto solo casini.
Premesso che non posso cambiare kernel, magari con il nuovo 2.6.15-27 o
il kernel 2.6.17-1 di edgy perchà da un po' di versioni in qua à stato
modificato il driver sk98lin per la mia scheda marwell NON GIGABIT!
Il fatto che questo modulo à stato "diviso" in due, il vecchio, e il
nuovo sky2 per supportare le nuove schede gigabit e la mia scheda
funzionerebbe solo con il nuovo modulo sky2. Il problema à che funziona
per pochi secondi dopo si blocca e per ripristinare la scheda devo
scaricare e ricaricare il modulo e funziona per un'altra manciata di
secondi.
Al momento sono riuscito ad arrangiarmi con il kernel 2.6.15-26 perchÃ,
non so come, ha ancora il vecchio modulo sk98lin non sky2 al contrario
dei kernel precedenti e successivi.
Ma al momento non mi interessa mettere a posto la scheda di rete, mi
interessa sapere perchà non funziona il suspend quando ha sempre funzionato.
Utilizzo l'utility klaptop, non ne conosco altre di decenti, e il pc va
in suspend ma al risveglio schermata nera e niente. Per sbloccarlo uso
le conbiazioni "Sys Req" + K,->S,->U,->B e si riavvia. Direi che non Ã
molto simpatico.
L'unico log lo ho trovato in /var/log/messages ed à incollato alla fine.
