[Linuxtrent] pkg-config e versioni di glib discordanti (su osx)

Dopo innumerevoli tentativi sono riuscito a far girare gtk in OSX,
senza utilizzare X11 (e senza darwinports o fink).
Il problema è che, avendo compilato di tutto e di più, più versioni
delle stesse librerie, ora mi trovo con un incongruenza tra la
versione di glib installata, e i suoi header.
Ora mi trovo a dover compilare una libreria che necessita di glib come
dipendenza, e sfrutta pkg-config nel ./configure.
Ottengo il seguente errore:

Può essere un problema di configurazione di pkg-config (nel
glib-2.0.pc)? Come posso risolvere?
