Ho scritto una mail a Samsung, dicendo che io uso da 5 anni il masterizzatore
sotto linux, e tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione, finora.
Ecco cosa mi hanno risposto:

Unfortunately our technical support cannot offer you any support on
other OS than the following:
DOS, Win9x, Win2000, WinME, WinNT, WinXP
The devices may work properly in Other OS (Linux, ....), but
compatibility problems may occur as well as
problems with finding supporting software.
The basic reading function of the drive will work properly (under linux,
...), but other functions that rely
on software may not work. This is due to the fact that all Software sold
with the drives is only compatible with Windows.
As the drives do not officially support other OS than Windows, we can
offer you no information as
to which programs you should use in these OS.
