community and may be using GIS for your conservation work. This is an
announcement of the call for the Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS)
Global Scholarship Program.
This year the application process is starting earlier so please note the
early deadline.
The SCGIS is offering a scholarship to attend the following in California,
USA in 2020:
- Specialized GIS training in ArcGIS Pro at the University of
California, Davis Campus (19 June - 6 July)
- The SCGIS Annual Conference in Monterey Peninsula, California
(7-10 July)
- The ESRI International User Conference in San Diego, California
(13-17 July)
- ArcGIS Online, field and web-applications at Esri head-office in
Redlands, California (18-29 July).
Should you be interested in applying for the scholarship and for more
information, please find attached the SCGIS scholarship application form.
Please follow the instructions carefully.
The SCGIS 2020 Scholars Program is a PARTIAL funding program, but for
applicants eligible to apply for additional funding from WWF's Professional
Development Grants program that is only available to the following
countries (
https://www.worldwildlife.org/projects/professional-development-grants),
please do so as it may increase your chance of being selected.
