Applications are invited for the post of a Project Associate in the
following research project funded by SERB in the Department of Silviculture
& Agroforestry, College of Horticulture & Forestry, Acharya Narendra Deva
University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
*Title of the project: **Assessment of determinants of bird assemblages
across rural urban gradient in & around selected cities of Uttar Pradesh*
*PI: *Dr. Ulman Yashmita Nitin, Assistant Professor
*Project duration: *2 years (24 months), the post is temporary and co-
terminus with the project
*Essential Qualifications: *Master’s degree in Forestry/Wildlife
Science/Environmental Science/Zoology/Life Science/Biological
Science/Ecology from a recognized University or equivalent.
*Desirable qualifications: *1) Skill in identification of bird and plants
2) Basic GIS skills and understanding social-ecological systems frameworks
3) Fluent in Hindi and English
4) Having driving license and 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler driving skill
*Fellowship amount: *1) Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (as admissible) to
scholars who are selected through a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC
NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or b) A
selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their agencies/institutions such as DST, DBT,
DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
2) Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
*Age Limit: *The candidate should be below 35 years in age, as on
28.10.2022.
*Application procedure: *Interested/eligible candidates may apply by
sending application consisting of a cover letter and detailed CV to the
email of the PI at yashmita.anduat@xxxxxxxxx on or before 26th October
2022. On the date of the walk-in-interview, the candidates must bring the
filled-in application form available on https://www.nduat.org/
*Venue, date & time of walk-in-interview: *Administration Building, ANDUAT
campus, 28th October 2022, 10:30 AM.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The decision regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no
further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
