*Volunteering in a project studying the behavioural and population ecology
of agamid lizards*
We seek volunteers for a project focusing on the behavioural ecology and
population ecology of *Psammophilus dorsalis*, an agamid lizard found in
peninsular India, starting from October 2016. We study rock agamas in the
Eastern Ghats, in and around Rishi valley school campus in Andhra Pradesh,
160 kms from Bangalore. Our research focuses on male and female
reproductive strategies, sexual selection, life histories, and consequences
for populations. Work will involve collecting behavioural and life history
data on wild lizards in a hilly terrain and processing data.
