Dear all,
Position for Project/ Research Assistant
Project: Sciurid response to changes in mountain systems
Description: The project aims to estimate document sciurid response
(primarily genus Funambulus) to high elevation changes, specifically
in the Kodaikanal landscape. The focus will be on mapping occurrence,
and subsequently recording behaviours in specific populations over a
period of three years. Field work will include small mammal capture,
handling, behaviour observations, surveys and transects. Candidates
with field work experience in the Himalayas (and other high altitude
systems) and/or prior experience with animal handling are ideal for
the post.
