*Subject:* Call for Ph.D applications to the IDP Climate Studies at IITB
Dear Professor,
Greetings. I am writing in regard to the call for PhD applications to the
interdisciplinary programme (IDP) in Climate Studies, introduced at IIT
Bombay in January 2012. The IDP in Climate Studies is aimed at undertaking
interdisciplinary research related to the causes and consequences of
climate change and responses to it. Over 30 faculty members from 11
departments at IITB are participating in the IDP.
Your assistance is highly appreciated in widely circulating the attached
"PhD Admission Poster spring Semester 2019_IITB" to students who would be
interested in this programme. Teaching assistantships are available for
PhD
applicants. In addition, PhD under national fellowship award (UGC/CSIR),
external, college teacher and other categories are also considered.
Just to alert students, the application deadline is October 15, 2019 (for
admissions to the January, 2020 term). The online portal for application
will remain open from September 03, 2019 to October 15, 2019.
