*Recruitment of Project Associate** in Govt. of India funded project*
ATREE invites applications for the position of a *Project Associate **for
a **Government of India funded project on Biodiversity and Agriculture.* The
project seeks to develop a methodology to quantify the role of biodiversity
in enhancing agricultural productivity and meeting the food and nutritional
security of people, besides exploring how the sustainable use of
biodiversity can enhance rural incomes.
*Position description:*
The Project Associate is expected to assist the Research Associate and
Senior Research Fellow already working on the project in 1) creating
outreach and communication materials in the form of videos, posters and
presentations using infographics for the project, 2) collating and curating
existing information on biodiversity services to agriculture and human
well-being, 3) conducting workshops towards development of methodology, 4)
write reports and prepare articles for peer reviewed journals and reach-out
to society through various media including web portal, 5) field work as and
when necessary for the project
*Duration: *
The tenure is initially for 6 months starting from February 2020 to July
2020, and is likely to be extended based on funding,
*Qualifications:*
Post Graduate degree in any background, with experience and skills in
IT/infographics, media and communications. The candidate should also have a
strong aptitude towards ecology/environment/agriculture, and excellent
communication and writing skills. The candidates should be self-driven and
highly motivated and willing to undertake fieldwork.
*Salary:*
The candidate will be paid project associate fellowship as per DST norms
