So, please forward, to anyone you know who may be interested, the following information about the current CLP funding opportunity for early career conservationists who are interested in conducting projects that will help them to develop a career in biodiversity conservation. CLP aims to advance biodiversity conservation globally by building the leadership capabilities of early‐career conservation professionals working in high‐priority places with limited capacity to address conservation issues. This partnership initiative, including BirdLife International, Fauna & Flora International and the Wildlife Conservation Society, has been helping young conservationists to achieve their goals for 30 years. CLP works toward its aims by offering awards, training and mentoring support. CLP is now accepting applications for Future Conservationist Awards. These awards are worth up to $12,500 for teams of three or more individuals to undertake one-year conservation projects focusing on threatened species or important habitats. In 2015 CLP will only be accepting proposals for projects to be implemented in the following 22 countries: Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Brazil, China, Egypt, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Mozambique, Oman, South Africa, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, UAE and Vietnam. Application deadline is 23rd February 2015. Full details on the type of grants available can be found in the attached document and on the CLP website: http://www.conservationleadershipprogramme.org/ You can also follow CLP via www.facebook.com/CLPawards and www.twitter.com/CLPawards.
