I have been reading/ hearing and observing about the recent policy
decisions being made by the Verappa Moily, the Env. Minister, Govt. of
India and I must say, I was disappointed by many of them. (i.e.
clearing projects in a whirlwind fashion:

Some of them have been put on hold by the NGT, but a lot of them still hold.

Veerappa Moily was given the charge after Jayanti Natarajan (who
denied clearance to POSCO) and Jayaram Ramesh (who denied field trials
of BT brinjal)

 I wonder if you are feeling the same too? If you are, it is important
to get our voices heard, by the people who will be our future leaders,
representing us in the parliament, for the next few years

Let me suggest an idea:

 We can build a questionnaire, about what are the top-priorities of
people, when it comes to the environment/ ecology and what can be done
to address them?

 We can then build a manifesto listing the top environmental-concerns
of today, and ask our leaders to endorse it in a way similar to the
Womanifesto : https://avaazimages.s3.amazonaws.com/Womanifesto%20A0.pdf.

 This way, we will ensure that our concerns are heard, by the public,
as well as the MP hopefuls, so that we may get a clear picture, of
whom to vote, and whom not to, to power
