Dear Yeti,
I request you to kindly circulate the following advertisement.
The Food Security and Biodiversity in Homegardens project (project
duration: 2.5 months) is looking for survey field assistants and
biodiversity assessment field assistants to assist with data collection in
Kerala (districts of Idukki, Pathanamthitta and Wayanad), starting 27th of
January 2023.
*Requirements: *
1. Master’s Degree or higher in agriculture, forestry, botany, zoology,
environmental sciences, biology, geography or any related discipline.
2. Language Requirements: Fluency in written and spoken Malayalam and
English.
3. Driving licence and the ability to drive a 2-wheeler/4-wheeler.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work proactively as
part of an interdisciplinary team.
5. Motivation, discipline and patience to systematically collect, annotate
and communicate data.
6. Field work skills, including a) capacity to work and live in a distinct
place under basic conditions, b) willingness to travel and spend the
necessary time in the field, and c) maintenance of basic field work
equipment.
*Salary/Remuneration:* Commensurate with qualification and experience.
