Are you an ecology/environmental science student or researcher keen to
learn statistics?
Are you looking for a basic, hands-on introduction to R for statistical
analysis?
If your answer to these questions is *YES*, enroll for the Chatur Ullu
Lab's Statistics ONE in R workshop!
*Eligibility:* UG, PG, PhD Students and working professionals in the
environmental sector, ecology and allied disciplines are welcome to apply.
*Modules and key details of the workshop:*
1. Introduction to the scientific method
2. Data types and sampling
3. Data distributions and Parametric vs. Non-Parametric Statistics
4. Univariate and Bivariate Data Analysis
5. Hypothesis testing and Regression
6. Bonus Session: Common mistakes made in statistical analysis
7. Live Q & A sessions
8. Do-it-yourself assignments in R software with data of your choice
9. Basic training for statistical analysis in R software
10. One month of access to workshop recordings and study material
11. Five assignments, group work, and live interaction with experts
The Workshop will be conducted online across two weekends - January 7th,8th
to January 14th and 15th
