Hi,
The Forests Art and Installations Internship offers creative students and
young practitioners the opportunity to showcase their talent by
conceptualising and creating a public art installation for the Forests of
Life exhibition at Azim Premji University. The internship program is a
3-month duration, and successful applicants will have the opportunity to
participate in the design idea cum built realisation project, which aims to
challenge individuals to imagine the forest from the obvious to the
mysterious.
To apply, artists and designers are required to submit a 500-word concept
note that includes the title, description, theme, proposed methodology, and
timeline. They must also upload 8-10 images of their latest artwork.
Applicants must submit an installation design plan that outlines the
conceptual diagrams explaining the functioning of the installation,
material usage, and the use of upcycled, eco-friendly materials.
Through the Forests Art and Installations Internship, creative
practitioners will have the chance to contribute to this celebration of our
forests by creating an art installation that highlights the importance of
forests, their cultural affiliations, biodiversity, and the hope for their
future.
Internship Duration: 3 month internship
