Dear colleagues,
I am offering a *3-year PhD position* for a student to work on *species
richness patterns along elevation gradients* and to seek for understanding
underlying mechanisms by using plant functional traits. More details are in
the attached job announcement, which you also find here:

will be at Halle University with a strong connection to the highly
international German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research “iDiv” in
Leipzig (www.idiv.de).
I would be happy if you could spread this announcement!
The announcement will also be published together with some other open PhD
positions on the iDiv website (www.idiv.de) soon (There is just a delay due
to administrative reasons). Also, the application portal will open soon.
*Important remark*: *Interviews *will take place in Leipzig at iDiv on *June
22-23*. Costs for traveling and accommodation will be paid (also if
applicants come from overseas).
